MUSCAT: The Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs emphasised that the Royal attention received by the 'Muscat Plan' embodies the wise vision of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik in consolidating the values of peace, understanding and human partnership. It also reflects the position occupied by the Sultanate of Oman in promoting dialogue and building bridges between peoples and cultures.

Dr Mohammed bin Said al Maamari, Minister of Awqaf and Religious Affairs, expressed his deep thanks and gratitude to His Majesty the Sultan for his continuous support for all initiatives that serve humanity and enhance the message of religion for peace and development.

He stated that the Royal praise for the 'Muscat Plan' is not merely a tribute to a plan or a project, as much as it is an exaltation of the values upon which Oman was built throughout its history; the values of wisdom, dialogue and peace. He added that it is a testimony to be cherished, as it stems from a leader who has made moderation an approach, understanding a message, and serving humans a goal, pointing to the continuous support of His Majesty the Sultan for all initiatives that serve humanity and promote the message of religion for peace and development.

He affirmed that the Royal praise is a source of inspiration to continue working so that Oman remains, as His Majesty desired, a capital of wisdom and peace and a land of understanding among nations, and to translate these Royal directives into practical initiatives that contribute to serving religion, the nation and humanity. - ONA
